Q. How do I prepare my car for pickup?
A. 1.clean the interior your vehicle, and do not
leave anything of value in your car.
2.If there are any mechanical problems note them. Note
any dings, dents or scratches and match this list with
the auto transport driver's list when he comes to do
the actual inspection.
3.The gasoline tank should only be a quarter full to
keep the car weight in limits.
4.Deactivate car alarm and radar detector.
5.Antennas,ski racks should be removed or retracted.
6.check for leaking oil, transmission, brake or power
steering fluid. In such cases recommend enclosed auto
transport.

Q. Do I have to be present when we pick
pick up or deliver your vehicle?
A. Yes, we request you, or a designated person,
be present upon pick up of your vehicle. An inspection
is performed and a contract bill of lading must be signed.
Q. Can I pack things in my car?
A. Auto shipping companies are not insured for
household goods. Personal belongings left in the vehicle
are shipped strictly at the owner's personal risk. Also
The law specifically forbids auto shipping companies
from transporting anything except your vehicle. If automobile
movers are found to be carrying household items they
can be fined up to $10,000. In such circumstances any
fines and expenses will have to be beard by the owner.
Q. When can you pickup my vehicle?
A. In most cases, our car transport company can
make arrangements for pickup on your desired date. If
not, a carrier will be assigned to make the pickup normally
within 2 or 3 days of your requested date. Arrangements
can be made for guaranteed pickup within 24 hours for

Q. Is my car insured?
A. Your vehicle is insured for the Blue Book value
the entire time it is on the car company transport truck.
Occurrences not covered are clearly listed on your Shipping
Order and on the Bill of Lading upon which your car is
shipped. A condition report is done on pick-up. The person
turning the car over and the truck driver both sign this
report and a copy is given to the party delivering the
car. This same report is presented upon delivery of the
vehicle at its destination and you should compare the
car to the report thoroughly at that time. If, for some
reason, you feel that some damage has occurred, you must
note it on the report before you sign it and before the
driver leaves. Any claims made after this time will not
be honored. We do have auto enclosed transport vehicles
for specialty transport needs, like classic car or exotic
transport.
Q. Will my car be transported on an enclosed
or open trailer?
A. Auto carriers typically utilize open trailers capable
of loading 3-10 vehicles. Auto Shipping offers the option
of an enclosed trailer if requested (Additional charges
may apply).

Q. How do I pay for services?
A. A deposit or prepayment must be received in our office,
along with a signed Shipping Order, before your vehicle
is scheduled for transport. All payments must be in
the form of a Money Order, Cashier's Check, cash.
